This is our standing promise to every customer. The commitments below are not optional extras — they are how the store is built.
What shows on your bank statement
Every charge from us reads as "ADS LIMITED" on your statement. We do not put the brand name, the website, or the product category on any payment descriptor.
What arrives at your door
Plain unbranded packaging. No product names on the outside. The brand is not visible to the courier, the front desk, the building manager, or anyone who sees the parcel before you do. The invoice is printed on a slip of paper inside the box — not on the outside.
Returns
If you need to return something, the return label is also inside the box. We do not email or print a separate returns label that would reveal the contents. Returns are processed within 5 business days of arrival.
We send marketing emails only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe. We will never share, sell, or rent your email address. We use a single email service (Klaviyo) for transactional and marketing email, with strict access controls.
Order data
We keep order data for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years), and for no longer. We do not enrich order data with third-party demographic information. We do not pass your email, shipping address, or order history to advertising networks.
Browsing data
We use first-party cookies for cart and checkout. We do not use third-party retargeting pixels unless you have explicitly accepted marketing cookies. You can review and change your cookie preferences at any time in the footer of every page.
Customer support
Every customer message is read by a member of the After Dark team. We aim to respond within one business day. If your message is about an order, please include your order number — it speeds things up. We never share the content of customer messages outside the team that needs to see them.
What we ask in return
Please don't photograph or share product tags in public forums — the tag includes the brand name. (If you've already done this, don't worry — we're not going to ask you to take it down. But it does help us help you.)
